Blue Collaboration – strengthening the blue bioeconomy

This event is organised within the project Blue Collaboration, which promotes partnerships between businesses, research, and academia to drive innovation and sustainable solutions within the blue bioeconomy. Through networking, capacity building, and access to test and demo facilities, the project creates new business opportunities and strengthens the competitiveness of companies in the sector.

The project also contributes to developing industrial symbiosis — using residual flows more efficiently — and supports the creation of new meeting arenas, startups, and collaborations. By working across regional borders, West Sweden reinforces its position as a leading region in the blue bioeconomy.

    Project partners:
Falkenberg Municipality, RISE, University of Gothenburg (Department of Marine Science and SWEMARC), GU Ventures, Chalmers University of Technology, Chalmers Industriteknik, CSR Västsverige, Fiskekommunerna, Sotenäs Municipality, Sjömatsfrämjandet, Innovatum Science Center.
