From Waste to Resource:
Innovation for Circular Textile Management

Turning textiles into a valuable resource is no longer just a vision – it’s a practical challenge. How do we make it happen? That’s the focus when SorTex invites you to a conference in Gothenburg on March 10, 2026. Here, professionals from across the Nordic region share knowledge, inspiring examples, and concrete results.

This day is for those working strategically with textile collection, sorting, and circular business models. Offering fresh insights, opportunities to exchange experiences, and valuable networking.

SorTex is an Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak project, and through cross-border collaboration it becomes possible to compare different collection and sorting models and operating conditions, and to translate these differences into shared insights, new collaborations and business opportunities.

The conference brings together lessons learned from SorTex collection and sorting trials on how high-quality collection and sorting systems can be organised, and how varying geographical conditions create both opportunities and challenges. The day focuses on the connection between collection, sorting and downstream markets – from system design to the business opportunities that emerge when textiles are treated as a resource within circular flows.

The program combines presentations, dialogue, and interactive sessions. We want to hear your voice and experiences. You’ll leave with both an overview and practical ideas for your organization – plus excellent opportunities for networking and cross-border collaboration.

Who should Attend?

This conference is for professionals in municipalities, waste management companies, and other organizations working strategically with textile management, circularity, collection, sorting, and reuse. Whether you plan collection systems, optimize sorting flows, or explore circular business models – here you’ll gain concrete tools and new perspectives to scale up textiles as a resource.

All are welcome. The conference will be held in English.

👉 Register today and be part of shaping the future of circular textile flows!
