Trip to visit Kristineberg Center for Marine Research and Innovation.

Join us for a day trip to Kristineberg Center for Marine Research and Innovation. In addition to guided tour around laboratories and infrastructure we will display ongoing antifouling projects and discuss future projects.

You will receive a lunch by the sea before going back to Gothenburg and Landvetter airport.

All costs are covered in the conference ticket.

09.00 - Bus pick-up at Quality Hotel 11.

11.30 – 12. 30 - General lab tour.
Detailed demonstration of lab facilities/raft for marine materials testing.
Marine materials/marine biotechnology project presentations:

13.30 – Bus pick-up Kristineberg.
Bus back to Landvetter airport.

16.15 - Back at Quality Hotel 11.

Kristineberg Center for Marine research and innovation is the 2nd oldest marine station in the world. To the center several universities (Chalmers, KTH and Gothenburg University) and research Institutes (RISE and IVL) are associated. In addition to classical marine research there is large marine materials testing facility including antifouling (panels and large-scale objects), corrosion and marine biotechnology. During the visit we will have a guided tour in the facility and an update from national/international and EU-funded projects.
